Additionally, there is a great shop that sells fancy dress and dance wear.

The food quality was fantastic and there was plenty of... read more This was my third visit to this restaurant in the past 18 months, and this time it was my birthday treat. The food quality was fantastic and there was plenty of it. We sat in the upstairs area with armchairs and a table setting, which has a cozy old-school vibe. The restaurant is located in an arts center and community hub, so there is always something going on, but it didn't disturb our meal. We enjoyed a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, and warm scones, with prompt refills of our tea pots. My son had a hot chocolate, and there are two sittings during the week at 12pm and 2 or 2:30pm. The restaurant has disable toilets and lifts available, as well as plenty of parking. The prices have gone up slightly, but it is still well worth it. I will definitely be returning, though I would like them to offer gift vouchers for the older generation who may appreciate it.

It is an interesting venue with a history back to 1901 as a Victorian school. It is now a community centre with all sorts of activities and a lovely, comfortable, light and airy upstairs lounge where we enjoyed our Cream Tea. Freshly baked scones and cakes and lots of tea. Friendly, attentive and informative staff. Well-worth a visit.

It was funny and... read more Send year running I went with my family to the panto. We had a lovely time and for a small venue it was very proffesional and really enjoyable. It was funny and a great atmosphere. Reasonable prices on drink and food as well. Will be back this year.
