The food and staff at this restaurant were absolutely wonderful. The Sunday roast dinner was the best I've ever had in my life! It's such a shame that the restaurant is now closed, as I miss their roasts so much.

I was here to work yet lasted a day. The worst 6 hours I've ever experienced and guess what..... I didn't get paid that was April 2022

Claims to be a dog-friendly pub, but took one step inside and was told no dogs in the pub! We were informed we have to sit outside with the dogs. A cold January day as it’s getting dark, no thanks. You can sit outside in a non dog friendly pub, so not a great offer. As we walked back out the door, another group walked in with their dog and met the same fate. Only a handful of people in the pub, you would think they would welcome customers, not turn them away.

I didn't feel like cooking a Sunday roast today, so my friend placed an order for two dinners to be picked up at 3 pm. It was ready on time and I have to say it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I were in search of a dinner spot in Waltham Abbey on a Thursday evening after a long day of driving. The town seemed quiet, but the Welsh Harp looked inviting. Elle welcomed us and we decided on the Cod Chips from the menu, as we are both pescatarians. It's important to pay close attention to menus these days, as "fish and chips" is not always the same as "cod and chips". After enjoying our drinks, Elle brought out the most enticing Cod Chips dish, featuring a large piece of cod in a light, seasoned batter, served with chunky chips, peas, and tartar sauce. My wife and I found it to be superb!
