This place use to be great but something must have changed as they don't even know how to cook anymore.

This review is about the owner and his friends and not the takeaway as I have never been there, however having experienced his behaviour along with his friends... read more This review is about the owner and his friends and not the takeaway as I have never been there, however having experienced his behaviour along with his friends at another establishment I would never in a million years give this arrogant aggressive disrespectful man my trade. You should know that he and his friends think is is okay to go to a restaurant that have families seated and use the c word and any other expletives they could think off as loud as they want with children seated next to them, they actually asked members of the restaurant staff ‘Do you know who I am’, as if that made it alright. I have never experienced such disrespectful, arrogant, aggressive behaviour in a restaurant, where a group of customers think that because they also own an establishment close by that they are special.. well you know what, you’re not!! In fact your behaviour was disgusting and for that alone I would never ever give you my custom.

Each time, I have asked if the chips are fresh... read more I have been staying in the area for work for the past two weeks and have visited this restaurant three times now. Each time, I have asked if the chips are fresh, but unfortunately, they have been hard and dry as if they have been sitting for a long time. This was disappointing and almost broke my teeth. I should have learned from the first time. As someone from Cornwall, I must say that the chips were shocking. I would avoid this restaurant because they lie about the freshness of their chips. Despite the good service, they are missing out on customers when there are not many chip shops in the area. Please do not bother with excuses for my complaint, as I am not interested. Take it or leave it, I do not care at all.
