We had a really nice meal with friends and the food was lovely. My only critisism would be that at £7.50, the prawn cocktail starter was overpriced. The prawns and lettuce were very fresh but there was no bread with it as you would expect so it was quite a small portion for the money considering you can get a main meal for £10-12. I was disappointed with my meal of pie, mash, and vegetables as it was served cold initially. After sending it back, it appeared to have been quickly reheated in the microwave, evident by the fork marks in the mash. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred me from returning to this restaurant. Me and my wife visited the Fox Inn in Bury StEdmunds in 2011 for the first time.
As our large group booked to go on Sunday, The Fox requested that we preorder.
