The Forester's Arms - Epping Forest

We had a wonderful Sunday Roast at this restaurant today to celebrate Mother's Day. It was our first time visiting this charming local pub and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The meal was delicious and Karen, the owner, and Emily, the barmaid, were very welcoming. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending this place to our family and friends.

We have been enjoying the Sunday roasts for some time now and they never fail to impress! They even deliver them to our home! All of the ingredients are fresh and homemade, simply delicious. I highly recommend it.

I recently met up with friends for a meal on a Saturday evening. Due to current COVID restrictions, we were only able to sit outside, but that did not detract from the experience at all. It was easy to reserve an outdoor table, and the food and service were excellent. The cod and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce were very good, with a huge piece of fish and excellent chips. We also enjoyed a pint of Guinness. Others in our group had the Pork Belly, Pie of the Day, and the Homemade House Burger, all of which looked delicious. The food was well cooked, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The Forresters is a lovely pub with friendly staff, excellent service, and good food. I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

We went for Sunday lunch to celebrate a family birthday. It was delicious. The between all of us we had each meat Sunday lunch and it was all fantastic. Malteser dessert was fabulous. Will definitely be going again.

Lockdown may be over but it's good to see that Andrew is still producing his great Sunday roasts. They are now available to eat in as well as takeaway. Today I ordered roast beef which was some of the best beef I've had for a long time.
