Great place for lunch and handy plant nursery next door
I have lived in the area for many years but somehow have never visited this cafe. Well that’s going to change going forward. A wide ranging menu, lovely food and friendly staff at reasonable prices. Will definitely be returning soon!
The food is not too salty and tastes goodMost British restaurants are overly salty! But the quality and service here are really good and memorable. After enjoying the gourmet coffee, you can also go to the gardening shop at the back to garden, which is great fun!
I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. The food arrived hot and I particularly enjoyed the garlic and thyme mushrooms on sourdough toast - I would definitely recommend it. My husband tried the vegan breakfast instead of the typical full English and found it to be a lighter way to start the day. Overall, it was a great experience.
Disappointed with teacakes we ordered, first was burnt, got a second which was OK but very overpriced, no jam. Had cheaper in central London
