We... read more My friend and I went to a restaurant last Monday, January 30th. We arrived at 8:15pm and our order was taken quickly, but unfortunately, nothing was correct. We both ordered the vegetable and pasta soup, which was delicious. However, my friend did not receive his soup at the same time and had to wait for ten minutes before asking where it was. The waiter apologized for forgetting his order. For our main course, my friend ordered vegan spaghetti bolognaise and I ordered a pizza. My friend found his meal tasteless and not hot enough, while my pizza was barely warmed so I sent it back. The kitchen refused to do anything about it, even though it was only 10 past 9. We also asked for a jug of water, but were given a small jug and dirty glasses. When we requested clean glasses, we were finally provided with them, along with insufficient water. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and cheesecake, which were fine, but we were given teaspoons instead of dessert spoons. Despite having a 25% discount voucher, we were disappointed with the service and will not be returning to the Buckhurst Hill branch of the restaurant. The staff seemed rushed to close up, so we did not order coffee, leave a tip, and will not be returning in the future. Overall, the service from this well-known chain was appalling.

The electronic machine ran out of batteries half way through the order so the waiter had to get a pen and... read more From the minute our order was taken it was a disaster. The electronic machine ran out of batteries half way through the order so the waiter had to get a pen and paper and start again. Then was then a very long wait. Two of our starters arrived (one missing garlic bread) before our drinks arrived. We were told that all the staff were new so would have to bare with them Still no food for our son and mother. Then the drinks arrived and the waitress didn 't even know what they were and just dumped them in front of us to guess. Still two starters missing. The garlic bread and child 's starter finally arrived but the first two starters had finished. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the final starter. When the mains came up the waitress again did not know what dish was what. I had order gluten free so was concerned that I was getting the right meal. Our sons was again last to arrive 5 minutes after ours. We asked for parmesan and it arrived after the bill! Then the waitress dropped a knife in my mother 's drink but didn 't offer to replace it. When we asked of we could have another she replied it was the clean end The attitude and excuses where unacceptable. I understand if there are new members or they are short staffed but the management was atrocious. The cost of our starters was removed from the bill and we decided to have dessert at home to save any more disasters occuring. Will not return. Ever!

The waitress working was running... read more Today, (Tuesday 29) I visited prezzo for some lunch, food was great but I noticed how the manager on duty was absolutely lazy. The waitress working was running the whole restaurant by herself, including the bar! I noticed that the manager was holding a piece of paper for more than an hour while the only waitress was constantly pacing from one end of the restaurant to the other, trying to serve all the customers by herself. This is unacceptable!
