Contribute FeedbackWaltham Abbey’s Indian dining scene offers both promise and pitfalls. While some establishments have garnered praise for their vibrant flavors and friendly service, others have left patrons disappointed, citing issues like long wait times and inconsistent food quality. Notably, recent changes in management have revitalized some restaurants, showcasing impressive dishes and vegan options. However, concerns linger about disorganized service and serious food safety issues. Overall, while there's potential for an exceptional dining experience, diners may need to navigate a rocky path before finding consistently satisfying meals in this evolving culinary landscape.
Absolutely loved the lamb chiop shazani and the tandoori seebass shared with my wife, will definitely come back here!
One of the best dishes I had in muhinur. definitiw my top Indian since I was here.
Great food and friendly service. disappointed that only house wines from the glass are available, but the house white is still beautiful! most bad was that the waiter was not at all helped by colleagues who stood and watched that he led the whole restaurant, but that was not reflected in the kitchen that was magnificent.
Had a fantastic meal in the spitfire today. eating is really good and there was sooo much, a bit stuffed now! nice eating, beautiful people. worth a visit.
.went to de mangos to try one more time as our first time it wasn’t very good to our surprise new people had just taken over and boy where they excellent if you are visiting or live in the abbey you got to try it if they carry on like this they will smash all the other Asian restaurants/takeaways the food the staff all above excellent they even have a vegan menu running alongside the traditional one also they have a section in which they have their own dishes it remains de mangos for now but it will have a name change soon so watch out we highly recommend
