Experience of August really positive in this farm at the gates of the village of Chiaromonte. A truly traditional lunch, served with care and without any rush consisting of courses of the true Lucan tradition. The genuineness at km 0 has been evident since the appetizers, hot and cold: the typical meats and lucani cheeses and then eggplants, zucchini, beans and vegetables and finally utlized mushrooms for repeat of bignes but of the size of a traditional zeppola! The fixed menu then proposed two first, one with porcini and sausage and the other with a tasty meat ragù: one better than the other. Salad and baked potatoes accompanied the mixed roast with lamb, pork bacon and the traditional lucana/calabrese sausage. Very sweet fruit that obviously came from the trees that crown the estate and for sweet a roll filled with coffee on which we could not exempt from asking the bis! All accompanied by a good wine of the house and killed by an artisanal walnut with ancient flavors. The almost irresistible cost taking into account the festive day but above all the quality and quantity entirely. Not to be missed.

This farm is easily accessible, located at the entrance of the picturesque village of Chiaromonte, a country with an ancient taste as well as all the lunch we enjoyed. Fixed menu Ferrara but rather varied and especially with the obvious hand of the fact in the house. Typical appetizer of meats and cheeses and other hot courses always at km 0: pumpkin flowers in batter, eggplant rolls, stuffed zucchini, beans and chicory and the original bignè with filling of porcini. Two first of course with homemade pasta: one with vegetable porcini and sausage and the other with a tasty ham ragù. In the groove of tradition the mixed roast with two contours and to finish, after the fresh fruit a wonderful sweet. All with a service not only kind and precise but very efficient despite the local being at the limit of capacity, while respecting the anti-covid norms. Only a very small negative note: the lack in the menu of the king of the Lucan cuisine: the raw pepper. The absolutely honest account considering the disproportionates seen around this August. Absolutely to recommend!
