Perhaps one of the more decent restaurants in Epinal, but that doesn't say much. Expected more given the good reviews. Long wait only one lady serving on a busy Thursday night. Skipped dessert for this reason. Traditional menu. Seems to be a family run restaurant with probably only one person cooking, so all dishes have the same garnish etc. Tasted fine though. We enjoyed an excellent dinner sitting outside this quite small restaurant which had a good and varied menu at a not unreasonable cost and with good friendly service

This is a gem among a number of uninspiring places to eat in Epinal. The atmosphere is vibrant and the staff are attentive while being respectfully discreet. The menu is extensive and the choices we made on a menu prix fixé for €27.50 were delicious. Salmon tartare and chicken livers to start, cod in curried sauce and pork ‘steak’ in a rich sauce to follow then creme brulee and a chocolate and nut delight to finish. Definitely seek this place out if you find yourself in Epinal
