Le Bagatelle - Épinal

Very cosy place. You can order à la carte or pick a menu. I chose the Menu Bagatelle . For an entrée I chose the feuilleté d 'asperges au saumon fumé et ciboulette avec sauce citronnée. Was amazing! Feuilleté was flakey and delicious. Asperges cooked to perfection with a nice crunch. You could taste the citronnée coming through the dish, very subtle and very nice. For the main course I had the Pavé de rumsteck grillé. I ordered it saignant . Was cooked to perfection. Really juicy and flavourful. Nice mashed potatoes and vegetables accompanied the steak. The vegetables were very nicely done, cooked but still with a nice crunchy bite. Excellent! As part of the Menu Bagatelle , a dessert is included. I chose the Forêt Noire plate. I must say that the Forêt Noire to me is a cake, but in this case the dessert had this name because of its resemblance to the Forêt Noire cake. Beautiful presentation with ice cream, mouse and a beautiful thin cookie. Amazing dessert! The restaurant is very cosy and the staff was very friendly. The chef came out towards the end of the evening to greet us and asked how we were enjoying our meal. Nice touch. We loved our evening at Le Bagatelle and highly recommend the restaurant. Don’t hesitate to have a sit and just enjoy! The food is fresh and high quality. The presentation of the dishes is cared for. The waitresses are very helpful and attentive. We had a lovely dinner outside along the river. Again...don’t think twice and give it a try!

Just finished am amazing meal here at La Bagatelle. Delicious 4 course meal. Every dish wonderful. My favorite was the venison from the fall menu. WOW!

Certes, on est peut-être arrivés un peu tard.Mais il vaut mieux refuser poliment une table plutôt qu'accepter en faisant la tête pendant tout le repas...Sinon la terrasse en surplomb de l'eau fait toujours son petit effet, très agréable.Dans l'assiette quelques efforts supplémentaires seraient bienvenus. La salade de cuisses de grenouille aux copeaux de fois gras ne tient pas ses alléchantes promesses, et le sandre en crème guère plus.La terrasse est débarrassée avant qu'on ait fini de manger, excusez-nous, on a bien compris...

Resté en ville ce lundi soir ensoleillé, cette jolie terrasse au bord de l'eau m'a donné envie. La serveuse très aimable m'a rapidement proposé une place et installé. Le menu se consulte sur une tablette, et j'avoue, c'est agréable et bien fait ! Une carte de plats suggestifs qui contentera la majorité. Spécialités de poissons et fruits de mer. Mon choix se porte sur une paella de poissons présentée en poêlon et un verre de vin. Présentation appétissante, saveurs subtiles, service copieux, prix très honnête. Pour résumer, une bonne table au centre ville.
