I've used Scratch a few times for cupcakes for birthday parties/treats as well as for lunch or a quick pop in for a midday snack. I really enjoy their selection of cupcakes and other sweet treats. Their sandwiches are also yummy and a nice selection. View all feedback.

Fantastic restaurant! The soups and sandwiches are consistently delicious, and the cupcakes are excellent! The cupcakes taste fresh, and the icing is delightful! It’s a perfect spot for lunch and a sweet treat!
My favorite place in town to meet customers friends for coffee, cupcakes, breakfast lunch! I had also made a custom cake for my husband, it was beautiful and delicious. I love her made from scratch bags and her icing is perfectly sweet! My favorite picks are the Davis Cupcake, salted Carmel Iced Coffee, and Zesty Jack Sandwich. Besides, they are GF friendly and have pup bites for your furry baby too!
I just moved into an apartment in downtown Ephrata, and I was thrilled to discover that there was a locally owned cafe/bakery close to my new place. I stopped in for the first time today, and the coffee and breakfast were incredible. There is a very spacious seating area, and it's all very clean and welcoming. The service was great as well! I'll definitely be frequenting Scratch and recommending it to friends in the area.
Scratch is a spacious, somewhat hidden gem on Main St. in Ephrata. When you walk in, you're always welcomed by friendly staff in a modern yet cozy, shaded atmosphere. I've only tried their soups, sandwiches, and cupcakes because I'm so satisfied with this perfect trio. I highly recommend the Spicy on Main Sandwich paired with a soup from their pick 2 combo. The cupcakes are delicious, though I find them to be a bit pricey. Overall, I definitely recommend this place—it's a must-visit and must-try!
I joked with a friend, let 's get cupcakes for lunch , I didn 't realize they had actual lunch when I said it. We stop in and I had the best sandwich and cupcake! Will definitely be back. Thank you!!

The food was excellent and clearly made from scratch. Rating: 5/5.
Good food and coffee. However I was a bit surprised at the tiny cup of soup I got after ordering a large Broc Cheddar for $6.50. My coffee is bigger. The small must be a tiny teacup?Food: 3/5
For those with dietary restrictions, they always offer gluten-free options and vegetarian choices for both breakfast and lunch.
Wife and I got the spicy on main and the bite? They're both really good. We went back the next day and got the golden pig and the apple turkey sandwich also amazing!
