Reviews - Rainier Grill
Reviews summary
Nestled in a charming locale, this delightful restaurant boasts a cozy atmosphere complemented by friendly service. Diners rave about standout dishes like the salmon caper salad and fish and chips, while the onion rings are a must-try. Although some dishes like the seared ahi and marinated steak salad could use more flavor, the overall culinary experience remains impressive. Guests appreciate the reasonable prices and quick service, even during busy times. With a rustic bar and vintage decor, it’s a perfect spot for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings, although a more extensive drink list would enhance the beverage experience.

Service was great! My husband loved his Duke and my southwest salad was delicious, the chicken was over seasoned and salty but everything else was great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Paul Walker dislikes about Rainier Grill:
The seared ahi lacked flavor. Should be marinated or drizzled with some flavor other than the wasabi dipping sauce. Fish and chips was excellent and the French dip was on point. View all feedback.

The grilled Salmon salad is amazing. My friend loved the fish and chips. don't get me started as a warm brownie with hot caramel and ice cream dessert. Wow!

One of our local go-to's. Unfortunately when they get busy dishes pile up on the bar and service suffers. Food is always pretty good and they have the best onion rings I've ever had. The curry muscles are great and provide a great dipping sauce for the onion rings.
I visited again last night and enjoyed an incredible Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad! The place was bustling and quite loud, making it difficult to hear each other, but the delicious food and our wonderful server, Tyson, made up for the noise. It’s a charming spot with friendly service and typically excellent food. However, I wouldn't recommend the marinated steak salad. Although I’m a fan of balsamic vinegar, this one was so overpowering that I could only manage to eat half before I had to toss the rest.

Wow! I just had the best BBQ brisket sandwich I've ever tasted! It was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the BBQ sauce was outstanding! The tavern has a great local vibe with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I'm a happy guy with a satisfied appetite!

The food was great, and the prices were reasonable. The lighting creates a cozy atmosphere, which contrasts with the high tables in the bar area, making it feel like it could be a more intimate setting. They offer American cuisine along with a good selection of cocktails. However, I wish they had a spirits and wine list; the only non-cocktail options were about 5-6 beers, even though the bar shelves seemed to hint at a more extensive and pricier selection that wasn't clearly listed. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4.

Best food around. The Rainier is always consistent delivering delicious food, good service and cleanliness. I’ve never had to wait very long for my meal and it was always prepare the same way. I am a huge fan of the salmon caper salad, and my boyfriend is obsessed with their barbecue sauce.
The Rainier is my go-to spot for a delicious steak. Their ribeyes are phenomenal—hand-carved and cooked to perfection. Whenever we want a great steak, this is the place we choose. My partner usually prefers his cooked medium, while I like mine a bit rarer than medium, but never quite blue rare, and they consistently get it right! Everything on the menu is fantastic. Just yesterday, I tried the Prime Rib Special, and it was incredible. Each time we visit, the service is outstanding—quick and attentive, with excellent food! We barely had time to finish our Ahi appetizers before the main course arrived! I recently saw a review mentioning a 30-minute wait, but that’s not typical; they’re usually spot on! Everyone has an off day now and then, so don’t let a negative review deter you from trying this place. Instead of opting for high-end restaurants with all à la carte pricing, head to the Rainier—you’ll be glad you did! Their Rib Steak is under $30, and it comes with delicious sides like potatoes and veggies, making it worth every penny! We always have enough leftovers to whip up steak and eggs for breakfast. SO GOOD!
I visited Rainier yesterday to catch up with the staff and see if any other locals were around. It's definitely my go-to spot in Enumclaw, much like Cheers. I highly recommend this place for its fantastic staff, extensive beer selection, and tasty menu offerings.
Fantastic food! The best burger I ever had. I had the Kolbe beef bacon and blue burgers. Also, Hope was great.
