Reviews - Rainier Grill
Reviews summary
Nestled in a charming locale, this delightful restaurant boasts a cozy atmosphere complemented by friendly service. Diners rave about standout dishes like the salmon caper salad and fish and chips, while the onion rings are a must-try. Although some dishes like the seared ahi and marinated steak salad could use more flavor, the overall culinary experience remains impressive. Guests appreciate the reasonable prices and quick service, even during busy times. With a rustic bar and vintage decor, it’s a perfect spot for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings, although a more extensive drink list would enhance the beverage experience.

Service was great! My husband loved his Duke and my southwest salad was delicious, the chicken was over seasoned and salty but everything else was great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Paul Walker dislikes about Rainier Grill:
The seared ahi lacked flavor. Should be marinated or drizzled with some flavor other than the wasabi dipping sauce. Fish and chips was excellent and the French dip was on point. View all feedback.

One of our local go-to's. Unfortunately when they get busy dishes pile up on the bar and service suffers. Food is always pretty good and they have the best onion rings I've ever had. The curry muscles are great and provide a great dipping sauce for the onion rings.
I visited again last night and enjoyed an incredible Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad! The place was bustling and quite loud, making it difficult to hear each other, but the delicious food and our wonderful server, Tyson, made up for the noise. It’s a charming spot with friendly service and typically excellent food. However, I wouldn't recommend the marinated steak salad. Although I’m a fan of balsamic vinegar, this one was so overpowering that I could only manage to eat half before I had to toss the rest.

Wow! I just had the best BBQ brisket sandwich I've ever tasted! It was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the BBQ sauce was outstanding! The tavern has a great local vibe with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I'm a happy guy with a satisfied appetite!

The food was great, and the prices were reasonable. The lighting creates a cozy atmosphere, which contrasts with the high tables in the bar area, making it feel like it could be a more intimate setting. They offer American cuisine along with a good selection of cocktails. However, I wish they had a spirits and wine list; the only non-cocktail options were about 5-6 beers, even though the bar shelves seemed to hint at a more extensive and pricier selection that wasn't clearly listed. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4.
Went there for dinner, there was a line, now I know why. The food was amazing, service was friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. Will be back for sure! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was great. The staff was awesome. The company was fabulous. The ambiance was wonderful. Need I say more.
I've been here several times and never been disappointed with the quality of the food and grog, or the value of the helpful friendly staff!! Well done!
Amazing food! This is one of the best hidden French gems I've come across. The salad was also delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and prompt, especially considering how busy it was on a Saturday afternoon. Well done! The only downside was the tap water; it had a strange taste, and I wasn't sure if it was safe to drink, almost like someone had dipped a paintbrush in it.
Definitely a hotspot in town, and it's no wonder! Drinks were served extremely quickly, waitstaff were friendly and very attentive. As far as the food, there was not one thing to complain about. Portion sizes were reasonable for the price, and care was taken in the preparation and plating. My group ordered the Steamer Clams, Calamari, Onion Rings, Fish and Chips and a Pulled Pork Sandwich. In summary, the visit here is well worth the price, and even if just passing though town it's worth a stop in.
Best food around. The Rainier is always consistent delivering delicious food, good service and cleanliness. I’ve never had to wait very long for my meal and it was always prepare the same way. I am a huge fan of the salmon caper salad, and my boyfriend is obsessed with their barbecue sauce.
