T... read more This restaurant is amazing! My dad has been raving about their cookies and decadent pastries for years, and I finally got to try them. They were so delicious! The flavors in the main dish were not too spicy and it was hearty enough to be a meal on its own. I do wish the portion size was a bit bigger or came with a side dish, but it was still satisfying. The staff were attentive and friendly, even when they were busy, and you could tell they were dedicated to providing excellent service to each table.

They offer a fantastic breakfast menu, with the highlight being their homemade jams that are simply delicious. While breakfast is served all day, their popular pancakes and French toast are only available until 1 or 2pm. My favorite dish is one of their breakfast options paired with their flavorful marmalade. My husband enjoys their omelets and the trout breakfast. Although their other meals are also tasty, breakfast is definitely our favorite here. It's a bit of a drive to get there, but it is well worth it!

Our first time here another table paid for our family's ticket, we were so surprised! Such kind-hearted patrons here every time. Now that's become our tradition every time we go, to select a table and pay it forward.

The building is a delightful tribute to the early residents and is the sole remaining business building. The decor is rustic country and such a visual treat! The food is flavorful and servings are huge. I had the corned beef hash my go to dish to evaluate a kitchen) with biscuits and gravy. The down was the gravy needed seasoning...which guests can add. Husband had the meat lover's scramble. Terrific! We couldn't leave without a peek into the bakery shop. Oh my!! So many yummy, made in house pies, cookies and cinnamon rolls bigger than a plate! Service was fast and not crowded. We were there around 10:15 am. Super friendly, welcoming place to relax and enjoy a step back in time.
