Pretty mediocre place, but there isn't much of an option while on the mountain, ha. Service was alright. Food has never been very good. On a previous visit I had the Mac and Cheese... Which was not good, surprisingly. This time around we had the cheddar and broccoli soup, not good, and the Wheel Burger. Patty was burnt and onion straws were cold. We went at a time when it was super slow. The burger was $17. Fry's were also really salty. I'd suggest not getting a burger.

We had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday, December 12, 2021. It's a relatively small place, but it seems either the kitchen is too small or they're understaffed, as we waited 40 to 45 minutes for our order, which was as simple as a hamburger and mac and cheese. We arrived at 11:20 am, but they were already out of all chicken dishes and sandwiches. The waitstaff works hard to deliver food and checks as quickly as possible, but there's only so much they can do when the kitchen is lagging behind. The food was decent—certainly an improvement over the typical low-quality offerings at ski resorts—but it fell short of expectations given the price and was not up to par for a full-service restaurant. When you're at a ski resort, you typically want a quick, satisfying meal so you can get back to skiing, and this place just doesn't deliver on that front. Overall, the speed and quality of the food were lacking, making it less than memorable.

I strongly recommend this fantastic lunch spot in the mountains! You absolutely have to try the pork belly BLT and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The staff was excellent, and the drinks were delightful.

After a long day of exploring, we came to the Summit House and it's reputation delivered. The view was a spectacular place for a drink. Even better was the conversation and service from Mikayla. Mikayla offered plenty of regional insight and was super pleasant from word 1. She even took this photo for us! The weather was unbelievably clear and we couldn't ask for more.

"How can you expect customers to dine at your restaurant when the gondola ride to access it costs $58 per person? It’s simply too expensive."
