The Lee Lounge - Enumclaw
The Lee Lounge
Description
Tim’s Kitchen in Enumclaw, formerly The Lee, offers a warm, homey atmosphere with a diverse and expanded menu featuring comforting classics like chicken fried steak, beef vegetable soup, and homemade coconut cream pie. The extensive salad bar remains a highlight, appealing especially to vegetarians. Service is friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming dining experience. While prices have increased recently, many appreciate the generous portions and nostalgic charm, particularly the unchanged back bar. Some concerns include inconsistent breakfast quality, salt levels, and limited family amenities, but overall, Tim’s Kitchen remains a beloved local spot blending small-town hospitality with hearty American fare.

We had our first ever lunch at Tim's Kitchen today! Our first impression was that it felt like eating at someone's house. The atmosphere is very home like and comfortable. The server was super nice. She did not introduce herself by name, so I cant give her a shout-out, but she was attentive and professional. Our food was great, and although the portions look small, I was not able to finish all of my burger, it's just optics the food is portioned reasonably. Overall I was very satisfied with our visit and will be going again to try some breakfast items!
The restaurant is no longer called Lee; it's now Tim's Kitchen. The menu is extensive and everything looks appealing. I particularly enjoyed the variety of gourmet hot dogs. The selection of chicken dinners competes with KFC. There are also plenty of sandwiches featuring sauerkraut. It remains one of the few places with an open salad bar. If you're nostalgic for the ambiance of Lee, just head to the back bar—it's unchanged, and you'll feel right at home!
The chipotle bean burger on brioche is quite tasty. I can’t recall if I had it with cheese or not. The salad bar offered a variety of sauces and dressings. The sliced beets were pleasantly soft, although they weren't pickled. Still, they were enjoyable! As for vegetarian options, the salad bar feels inviting and charming—it's a lovely touch.
We had dinner. My friend ordered fish and a side. The cod was 2 thick cuts cooked well and a great bowl of clam chowder. I had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and gravy. My other side was a side salad that turned out to be a dinner plate for one trip through the salad bar. They have a great salad bar.
