What Erika N likes about Dean's Place:
Love going to Dean's Place. It has a great atmosphere and the food is great. The service is great and there is plenty of sitting and a big bar. The steak special on Saturday is delicious. Quality food that is not over priced. The eggplant parmigiana is delicious! I highly recommend, the sauce is very flavorful. The chicken Alfredo is also delicious and you can't go wrong. What Amy Aufderhar doesn't like about Dean's Place:
What a delish time ? the initial atmosphere is smoking but once you bypass that and go to the right area it's a cute little place. The waitress was speedy and the food was delightful ? View all feedback.
The food at Essential was good, but our experience was marred by the service from our waitress, Danielle. She was neither friendly nor courteous, which really took away from our enjoyment. When we requested to split the bill and used our double-cost cards, we didn’t receive an apology or any acknowledgment of our request. In contrast, on a previous visit on Wednesday night, our server Sara was a delight—very nice and friendly, embodying everything you’d hope for in a waitress. I would only want to return if Sara is our server.
The food there is incredible, and you can't go wrong! However, I found the pizza to be just average. The paprika had too much sauce, which overwhelmed the edge with sauce and meat. Most of the other dishes, though, are quite good. We usually go as a big group, and there's one server who's absolutely fantastic! You definitely need to visit when they serve their napkins! We're heading there for lunch soon. I highly recommend it!
The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. I'm surprised to hear anyone criticize the service here. The bands were wonderful, and the cream balls were out of this world!
One of the best features of this classic Vegas lounge is that they offer a non-smoking dining area. You can enjoy cocktails while watching the Golden Knights play, all while savoring some really great food without the smoky ambiance of the casino. The service is consistently friendly, and the food is always delicious. In short, skip the Silverton and head straight to Dean's... you won't regret it!
#1 Taste: They use Canadian bacon, which I found to be a great choice. I ordered my eggs soft poached, and that’s exactly what I received. The Hollandaise sauce, made in-house from scratch, had a distinct and delightful flavor. The reason I review Eggs Benedict specifically is due to the varying flavors of Hollandaise sauce, and this one stood out. Additionally, their hash browns were shredded, which I appreciated. #2 Presentation: The overall presentation of the dish was quite good. #3 Price: At $12.95 for the Benedict with hash browns, the price is reasonable compared to similar offerings. Coffee is priced at $2.95 a cup, which is about average for today. It's not easy to add a new Benedict to my top ten, but this one earned the #1 spot due to its fantastic flavor. I recommend trying it for yourself to see why it impressed me so much.
