Was Anonym at Cava Ocho a mag?
I knew Cava Ocho from their reputation for pizza but wanting a bit more there was interest in the pasta con Cameron.(with shrimp) It was a party of 3 and each ordered the same. Surprise! The waitress informed us as to how large the servings...would be. We ordered one serving which was more than enough for all at the table. Garlic bread to die for, We were each served a full serving of Greek fused salad. Our wine was... View all feedback.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, pizzas and chicken wings are good, beautiful wee, cheese and meatboard very cool, also very expensive. I would recommend it.

They are kreatiw, friendly with excellent service, and great eating. they make creative pizza and Italian cuisine and have a beautiful terrace to eat

The Cava Ocho is a beautifully designed restaurant/Wine Bar. We sat on the patio and ate a delicious wood-fired Margarita pizza and tasted several good wines. Our tasty deluxe cheese board was served on a handcrafted platter made from a wine barrel stave. Nice touch!...All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to relax and enjoy the live music. We will be back.

We live in ensenada and often go to the valle de guadalupe, but cava 8 has just saved us some gas. the ambiente is different from the landscape, but eating is excellent and the wine is great. the service was incredible and in. the 8 years I lived in baja, I never had such a good service.

I had the opportunity to go to this new place in town, to be honest my expectations where higher but I was dissapointed by the end of the night by some of the aspects that I will evaluate below. Ambient: The place is comfortable, the...architecture of the place transports you out of Ensenada and in the night creates the perfect mood for a dinner for two. On weekends they have live music, and the group is truly great. Food: They have a limited menu compared to the one of the neighbouring wine cellar, the food is closer to tapas style rather than a formal dinner. Service: The staff is constantly looking forward to give their best, although they are not very knowledgeable of the wines they offer. Wine: They only have the house wines, and they run short when comparing the reds with other local wines in the same price range. I tried Entre Barricas and Brisas del Sur which I found quite full of aromas but quite plain in the palate. Run away from the rosè, it is a very salty wine (it taste like brine), having as a result a mask that ruins all the flavours you initially start to find when taking a sip from the glass. The Dulzura it is a quite nice oporto-style wine from what I tasted it is the best item in their wine list. Overall I would probably go back again in couple of years just to see how they are evolving their wine skills, and because the ambient is really good to have a good chat and a good time listening to the music. They close at 11pm so be there early, take cash with you as they don 't take credit cards.
