Casa tomas is absolutely tasty in terms of everything I tried! the chipotle garnelen pizza is one of my favorites. I also tried to tie up the garnelensalat and they were not disappointed. for dessert is a must of the crepe cake that is not on the...Menu, but so delicious! we always had great server. Last time I was there, I tried her chai tea... also delicious! I also think their prices are quite reasonable.

Today I went to cafe tomás and bought a small caramel cappuccino, the girl helped me say it was $45 pesos to which I asked how much it was in dollar, she said $2.27, so I gave her the exact money, I could tell her. was confused and she asked someone else if it was ok, the guy she asked, gives me 2 cent back and tells me that they can't take penies missing. I was confused and could not understand why they didn't take my pennies and I was somehow under $6 pesos. the girl tells me that she didn't know how to make dollar conversions, and I was very shocked that this could happen at a place in the middle of the coastal blvd in a city full of American tourist. the girl could say my wonder, so in a very rude ton she said: "let me $3 and the problem is over" my immediate answer was that I own a coffee shop and if one of my hired speaks so to any costumer we would have a serious problem". both servers have rolled my eyes and I just couldn't believe it. I was looking for the social networks of the place and was not surprised by the amount of people who, like me, had a terrible treatment, it is a shame that they have a great product, but also terrible costumer service. even on social media they do not react to good comments, let alone bad. I try to support local businesses because I would like to try out different things and therefore I flew to their business, but it was a disappointment and a pity. Hopefully, they will take action in training their personals and teach them that the customer interaction is much more important than just pretty coffees and also learn how to manage pesos/dollar transaction properly due to the location of their shop.

Good coffee selection with very good service in a great location of the city. although quite small it is a good spot for the environment. two flats offer them some private sphere if the place is not too full.

Casa Tomas is absolutely delicious regarding everything I have tried! The Chipotle shrimp Pizza is one of my favorites. I have also tried the shrimp salad and fettuccine and was not disappointed. For dessert a must is the crepe pie that is not on the...menu but ever so yummy! We have always had great servers as well. Last time I was there I tried their chai tea ... also delicious! I find their prices to be quite reasonable as well.
