Far from the touristy downtown area, Barra Azul is a hidden paradise for foodies. Its menu includes fresh local ingredients cooked Baja style (aguachile, directo, burritos, ceviche) but also other guaranteed international dishes (risotto, pasta, carpaccio) with local seafood. We came here on a dark Monday night. We had a little trouble finding it as there is no light on outside. It is a very small stone walled room with maybe 10 tables. The only people there was us and the waiter and chef. No one else the whole time. The menu is very good, the food very fresh and the servings plentiful.
