Was Salomons Ozoliņa at El Rey Sol a mag?
The restaurant looks is like old fashioned but the food is really good and the bread amazing the people are nice and polite. Every time we come here we have breakfast at this place. View all feedback.

What Anastasia Grigorjev dislikes about El Rey Sol:
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place will take advantage of you. I was eating breakfast with a group of friends, enjoying the music and ambience. The food was even pretty good. However, the staff here decided to change their exchange rate. Essentially charging us an extra 20 dollars. If you try this place, check your bill! View all feedback.

Good desserts. I had peach almond tart. But margarita is so so.

Best Restaurant in Ensenada. El Rey Sol is the oldest French restaurant in Mexico. Founded in 1947.

This was the best of Ensenada. I would go back just to dine there. Food and service superb.

I didn't know that this was mainly a French restaurant, tempting as that was, I wanted to eat Mexican, so I got the huh molé, which was delicious, two perfectly cooked chicken breast served with fried beans and tortillas and/or brot. also got a pepino (cubber) margarita, which was huge and refreshing, she brought a free appetizer of crostini with “cranberry cream and thunfisch Chipotle” spreads. I paid $30 usd for my meal, including 20% drinking money. beautiful place, good service, there are English-speaking servers available. it looks like a lot of people around me for lunch coffee and baked there, I would go back to check that, sitting on the terrace and watching people!
