This dog is called California, winner of the Hot Dog Legend 2021. In general, I liked it, that mozzarella cheese was delicious, I also liked the bacon and the sautéed mushrooms inside. The only bad thing was that the dog arrived too hot and I couldn't hold it well, it fell apart due to how hot it was, it must have been because of the cheese. But otherwise, everything was fine. What Giuliana Nicolini doesn't like about Hot Dog House:
The place is well decorated and decorated, but the music does not match at all with its 80's decoration nor with the paintings of the artists they have, they play pure modern music and it looks incoherent. The place has good music and a menu that visually looks rich, but in taste it was a disappointment. We ordered a Philadelphia dog: it was average, there was no flavor that stood out. We ordered the California dog: horrible! I don 't understand how they could compete with that dog. It was cold and it doesn 't have sausage but chips inside (ready, that 's what the menu says but seriously? Not even a cheap sausage base? . On top they put 2 mushrooms, 2 pieces of breast (which, by the way, was only the fat, the fat and 4 pieces of sausage on top in Coca Cola reduction, it was supposed to have bacon, but I imagine it was powder of bacon because there was nothing of that. The dog wasn 't even wide open to put the ingredients in so they wouldn 't fall out when eating. A disaster. Very expensive for what they offer. First and last time.
