This was an amazing meal!!! Whoever states Irish cuisine is not up to 5 star standards, had missed the places I have eaten on my trip. Roadford was by far the top of the list!! I also stayed in one of their rooms for the night which was clean and warm after a day of cycling in the rain. Marjorie was the consummate hostess and offered to put my soggy mess of cycling gear in the dryer for me. I will be coming back!!! View all feedback.
What an incredible experience! The owner was welcoming, providing great local tips to help us avoid crowds and make the most of our stay. Room was great, location perfect and breakfast amazing!
We had the most amazing meal here. It was recommended by our B&B where locals go for a nice meal. We were greeted by Beans the house canine. Our hostess Marian could not have been nicer and knew her menu well. The place fish was spectacular, seriously the best fish I ever had! The steak was perfect as well. Chef Frank did an outstanding job. I was surprised to find such a high quality meal out so far. I would highly recommend you eat a meal here when in town, you can get decent pub food anywhere.

So, Bobby and I ventured to Ireland for our honeymoon this week and are staying at this lovely B&B in Doolin. It just so happens the accommodations at Roadford are awesome we basically have a bed room and bathroom in our own little private town house with a backdrop of the gorgeous Irish countryside. We booked a little last minute and have never been to Ireland before so we weren't quite sure what to expect but this is well beyond our expectations for sure! The inn keeper is such a delight she let us know where to go what to do and was perfectly fine that we decided to dine at the restaurant at the last minute. The restaurant is award winning might I add : I was a bit worried when I saw the menu since I'm a very particular eater but I went with an appetizer of Goat Cheese which was wrapped in an eggroll, fried and accompanied by a variety of delicious sauces. For my entree, I had the Chicken 3 ways which was absolutely amazing. I have no idea how they thought of those flavors it was three separate chicken dishes one a chicken breast, chicken wings in a lemon grass type sauce and one chicken eggroll with red peppers. All the flavors complimented each other and honestly this had to have been one of the best meals I have ever eaten. And that's not including dessert. The special tonight was the Banana bread pudding drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauces, fried slivers of bananas, and banana ice cream. I honestly, still can't believe how delicious this was!! If you come to Doolin make sure to put this on your must eat list there is no way you'll be disappointed you did! Also, to top our whole trip off, they had the sweetest setter/retriever mix who I absolutely love to death. We got to visit with him after dinner which reminded me of my dogs at home :
Was met by Bean the Irish Setter and the owner Marian. From the get go was a very warm and welcoming environment. The accommodation was clean and comfy. Walking distance to the local pubs. Restaurant portion was closed for now they are moving to a better location near by. But still offers excellent breakfast. Will highly recommend.
