What Ashly Vandervort doesn't like about TGI FRIDAYS - Hackensack:
The manager and a host were present when I entered and they did not greet me. I actually think they glared at me, after a few awkward moments I explained that I made a reservation for 10 via opentable, they had no idea what I was talking about. Our server was very helpful. She was always there when we needed something. she went beyond and beyond. I can't remember her name, but she was just great.
This restaurant does not use open table they will take the reservation online, but not manage.
Almost empty, mid-afternoon, still the service was painfully slow. time, eat painfully slow to get and only 2 options on the menu to lunch. the menu matching was the portions for dinner. had been drinking, but the server disappeared. really strange ball ignorant host, has not even recognized open when I mentioned we had a reservation. will not be back.
They said the open table wasn’t working. So we had to wait almost 45 minutes
Used Open Table to make reservation but when we got there... no one knew what Open Table was... luckily it wasn't too busy and seated right away.
