Less than mins walk from the Crowne Plaza. Had fish and chips meal a couple of times. Fish been made fresh and both times very large piece indeed! Chips aren’t plentiful but well cut and thick. Vinegar sprayed onto your food and packed well...with drink all under You can eat in also. View all feedback.

The Masala table at this restaurant is excellent, and the chicken burgers are spot on. The mayonnaise here is my favorite compared to other places. There is plenty of parking available on both the front and side streets for customers to pick up their orders. However, I would advise against becoming a regular eater here due to the fast food nature of the menu.

This is the top chicken and fish and chips shop in Reading, the best location of Mr. Cod. They always deliver consistent quality with every order, everything is consistently excellent. The portion sizes are generous, especially with the chips, and the staff is consistently friendly.
Food is terrible so greasy I couldn't eat it and I love thing like fries bread. I binned the lot. I ordered a meal that came with a drink tried to tell me it didn't come with a drink even tho there was a picture above the mans head. Staff seemed more interested in having a joke around then serving you
Staff are really rude would not even say hello when customer enters. The fish was cooked in old oil and chips were really soggy. Would not recommend to anyone...
