Description

For those looking for affordable and efficient service, this restaurant is a reliable option, always open during celebrations. The fish and chips are of good quality for the price. Customers especially appreciate the tasty Masala table and chicken burgers, noting the delicious mayonnaise. While parking is easy to find, some caution against making this a regular dining spot due to the fast-food menu. However, many have raved about the delicious chips, fish, and mussels. Regulars love the Masala Fish Chips and recommend trying the chili sauce. Overall, a top choice for chicken and fish and chips in Reading, delivering consistent quality and generous portion sizes.

Food is terrible so greasy I couldn't eat it and I love thing like fries bread. I binned the lot. I ordered a meal that came with a drink tried to tell me it didn't come with a drink even tho there was a picture above the mans head. Staff seemed more interested in having a joke around then serving you

Staff are really rude would not even say hello when customer enters. The fish was cooked in old oil and chips were really soggy. Would not recommend to anyone...

I don't know how you can get fish so wrong. Must've been frozen for years...texture was weird, like mash potato, no flavour at all. First meal I've ever thrown away! Wish I'd read the reviews before buying...

The chips were fine, but I couldn't eat the fish. The batter was thick and heavy so I thought I would just take that off, but the fish was equally terrible. A strange texture and taste. Gross.

Purchase of large Cod and chips at a cost of around £8.90 Whilst cost is not everything the size and quality of the fish was dreadful. A small piece of fish, in fact the smallest I have ever been served in a chippy when ordering a large. That was a small issue, the cod was clearly not very fresh, it was old and grey and mushy. The batter was ok but nothing better than you would get on a precooked supermarket frozen fillet. In fact an oven cooled supermarket option would be preferable. The chips were cooked probably for the second or third time, were very fatty, however they were refried at the time of purchase. If it wasn’t for fact they were hot the rating would be 1 out of 5. So disappointing.
