Staff seemed more interested in having a joke around then serving you

A small piece of fish, in... read more Purchase of large Cod and chips at a cost of around £8.90 Whilst cost is not everything the size and quality of the fish was dreadful. A small piece of fish, in fact the smallest I have ever been served in a chippy when ordering a large. That was a small issue, the cod was clearly not very fresh, it was old and grey and mushy. The batter was ok but nothing better than you would get on a precooked supermarket frozen fillet. In fact an oven cooled supermarket option would be preferable. The chips were cooked probably for the second or third time, were very fatty, however they were refried at the time of purchase. If it wasn’t for fact they were hot the rating would be 1 out of 5. So disappointing.
