Take the train... read more The white snow summits and the beautiful views of the way to this mountain in Switzerland are breathtaking. Mount Titlis is a must in Engelberg. Take the train from Lucerne to Engelberg to reach the starting point. You can buy taxi tickets online or at the counter as soon as you reach. The cable car will take you up the mountain. There are souvenir shops and cafés to enjoy the day. The cliff hike is also very interesting. The chairlift is another additional attraction and should be included on the trip to Titlis. Its very cold and windy up carry gloves, warm clothing and wear shoes that do not slip on ice.

Beautiful ambience both inside and outside. Waiting time is too high. Had to wait more than an hour to get food. Much delay in ordering as well. This could get to know the seasons better. Titlis parking can be used that is really huge place. Except waiting times, highly recommended for family and friends.

Respond that hot water (run from the coffee machine and press only the button) costs extra few francs.

J... read more At the top of Titlis, there are a self-service a served restaurant. We chose the served restaurant as it has more variety of menus. And it was a right choice. Just one thing I'd like to mention. You probably need PATIENCE there. We were there about the last peek of lunch time, therefore with fully seated tables, weiters waitresses were sooo busy running around table to table. It took sometime to get our table. And ordering, getting drinks, meals payment. Quite everything.But it is worth doing so. And while waiting, you can kill your time enjoying the amazing view chatting with your company.Two different Rostis and pizza Margerita we ordered were delicious and big. So I recommend you to go there with an empty stomach. I'm sure any menu there is satisfiable since we eye witnessed the kitchen the people worked so hard with care Because dish presentations at other table's were lovely as well ; Enjoy your energy charging time!

I had Dal, Rice and Butter Chicken. The quality of food wasn't bad but being a Punjabi it was complete plain food with low salt and spices :
