We stopped in just by chance on our way home from an amazing UP trip. The food was amazing. Homemade everything right down to the strawberry jam. Staff were smiling and very friendly even tho they were crazy busy and running their butts off. We will definitely be back again.

Beary Patch is a popular local restaurant right off U. S. 2, on the north side, about 55 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge, 2 miles past the blinker light at the turn-off to 117 and Engadine. Great home cooked food. Last visit I had their split pea soup with ham for lunch...delicious! Great wait staff, friendly and attentive. Many locals eat here for good reason. Love their generous portions for breakfast! Yum!

This place is a GEM! The colored teddy bear pictures on the walls were absolutely delightful! The service and food were crazy wonderful. Our server was so attentive and genuinely cheerful. She literally whistled while she worked and hustled and actually jogged at some points! She took care of everyone and everything in short order and all with a smile. We each ordered omelets (I HIGHLY recommend the Engadine) with hash browns and delicious thick crispy toast (served with what I have to assu

Homemade food with generous portions and reliable quality. The decor may resemble a car shop, but the restaurant offers great food, service, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
