So delicious and authentic! I ordered the chicken flour and now I regret not getting any meat with my meal because I devoured it all! I can't wait to go back and try the goat and oxtail. View all feedback.

The service was quick, but the food arrived lukewarm, which made me wonder if it had been reheated. I could be wrong, but as someone who cooks often, I know how much better fresh food can taste. The jowl was average, the rice was decent but tasted like something I'd get out of a box, and the cauliflower was simply disappointing. The plantains were good, though, and the portions were very generous.

Some people might really enjoy this place, especially if they frequently eat from chain restaurants and enjoy frozen TV dinners. But if you're someone who values home-cooked meals, you might want to seek out a different spot because this place doesn’t deliver that home-cooked vibe.
The food is amazing! The jerk chicken is perfectly cooked, and the rice is beautifully seasoned and wonderfully soft. Next time, I plan to try the oxtails.

Another Jamaican place in the SFV? I'll take it! Glad there are now a handful of options in this region. Might have to start picking favorites soon... On to the review. For dinner, we got a curry goat plate and a jerk chicken plate. Delivered. The food was fine. Don't know if it would pass the Jamaican mom test, but it was Jamaican enough to feel like you're having an authentic, ethnic food experience. It largely felt and tasted like this food came from a mall's foodcourt. And that is by no means a knock on Jamafo. It'd be great to have Jamaican food represented in every format of restaurant service. It just tasted a little fast and chainy. So would I be mad if there were as many Jamafos around as there were, say Del Tacos, I definitely would not be. This place seems to shine the most with their portions. You'd pay about the same, compared to other Jamaican/Caribbean spots' prices, but they give you a ton of rice. Thankfully, the rice and peas go down easy here. I also love that I could try the oxtail as a side sauce. Great menu touch. This is not my favorite Jamaican place in the Valley, but it is another worthy take on the cuisine staples I grew up on, and that is grounds for celebration.
