I had expected Persian eating. that's not it. it tastes as if it is cooked in cocos oil. no saffron, no butter. basmati was not easy as usual. strange, inexplicable taste profile. cost $57 for 4 people. I usually pay less. balboa, pfirsich and panini are all better. I couldn't eat it. I found it infallible. I should have asked my other Persian friends first.

The owner is so sweet and always remembers me when I come in. She even let me sample the holy grail of off menu items the crispy herbed rice ring that forms on the the bottom of the pan. It was like Mediterranean crack. This food is made from the heart with fresh ingredients and large proportions. The filet kabob is my go to but I would eat anything and everything this woman cooked for me.

The skewers were tender and juicy, bursting with flavor. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and whatever they put on them is absolutely delicious. The sweet lady working there even gave me some free rice to try, which was also amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a try and I will definitely be returning.
