We arrived earlier than our reservation time for our Saturday evening dinner. The South American flavors were delightful, from the sweetly spiced sangria to the zesty hot sauce (which contained secret ingredients) and the rich fillings in the empanadas. Our server, Patrick, was exceptional in helping us choose the perfect costillas to accompany our entrees. It was a wonderful culinary experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Q'ero:
cool decor in a small restaurant. I had the empanadas I've never had. they were not too spicy, but quite dry. had to be a little acidic cream on the side so that it was pale. the waiter was inconspicuous and seemed to have a bit of a setting, but helpful when asked for certain menu items. I didn't come back to check us out. View all feedback.
Delicioso! The flavors of Peruvian cooking are delightful! The calamari?...to die for!
Foodie heaven! The Peruvian and Latin flavors created out the Qèro kitchen are out if this world. Spicy, flavorful, succulent, fresh, the list can go on and on. Every dish I've had has been perfection. Small and intimate this lil place is warm with a magical way of transferring you to a lil casita in Peru. My favorite eatery in North County SD so far.
Cool decor in a small restaurant. I had the empanadas, which I had never had before. They were not too spicy to my liking, but quite dry. Had to get some sour cream on the side for them to be palatable. Waiter was standoffish and seemed to have a bit of an attitude, but helpful when asked about specific menu items. Did not come back to check on us.
Our appetizer was not ordered and we had to ask for it after dinner was served. The lamb shank was described as falling off the bone and I had to saw it off with a steak knife. The pork special was amazing, tender and full of flavor. We were a party of four and gratuity was added to our check.
Fantastic food, fantastic service. Highly recommended.
