Feedback
**A Mixed Bag Experience at Pina** Pina offers a vibrant atmosphere, but patrons report significant inconsistencies in both service and food quality. While some dishes have gained praise for their delightful flavors and creative combinations, others have disappointed, with complaints about overcooked items and limited beverage options like coffee and tea. Guests have also noted slow service and noise levels, particularly during busier times or events. Ambiance issues, such as the disruptive sound of passing trains, further detract from the dining experience. Overall, while there are standout meals worth trying, improvements in service and consistency are essential for a more satisfying visit.
We had confirmed reservations for seven people, but when we arrived, we were told we had to order and eat at the bar. There was a comedy show happening, and there wasn't any seating available at the bar. Unfortunately, no one seemed to care to assist us.
Kaylie was extremely helpful and provided a lot of useful information. The food was absolutely delicious and offered great value for the price.
We waited several minutes to be seated and learned upon our arrival that the dining room was closed. We were instructed to choose our own table. Unfortunately, there were only a few tables that could accommodate five people, so we requested to push two tables together. The tabletops weren’t clean, prompting us to ask for someone to wipe them down. The service was extremely slow, even though there were only a handful of customers present. To our disappointment, they didn’t have any whiskey, despite having called ahead to confirm that the bar was fully stocked, as we were told. The food was just average, and one dish had to be returned because the tuna was overcooked and tough; however, they kindly removed that from our bill. While sitting outside was enjoyable, the trains that passed directly behind the restaurant, blowing their horns, made it difficult to carry on a conversation.
