We dropped in for dinner last night and was extremely happy with our meals. We ordered the bruschetta to start followed by the duck off the specials board and the pie of the day. They were both generous servings and very tasty. It was good value for money. It is an order and pay situation. The only criticism is that the mains came whilst we were eating our entree. What User doesn't like about Lapstone Hotel:
The young ladies/men serving alcohol are exceptionally good people, but they have a tendency to keep serving alcohol to clearly drunk patrons. I was served 10 dark ales last night within a matter of 2 hours, and i have kept my Commonwealth Bank reciepts. Great food, fast service, can always get a good table.
In order, not much atmosphere, typical pub, for adult. I personally think that children do not mix well with drinking and gambling, but this is my choice, I think there are more suitable places to have a family meal.
Faster service and generous portions. it's not cheap, but they get what they pay. our chicken parmigiana, vegetarian afteros and children spaghetti were very nice.
Great pub. Must stop here more often. A number of large areas to sit at. Good food
If you want to go on the pokies go somewhere else I wanted to write somthing funny but out the of every place I’ve been and I swear on my I’ve tried every place in the Penrith area this place is the worst spot please for the love of god if you want even one feature try the red cow
