Great food. Chicken cheese steak was great, my wife loved her burger and the gluten free options were as good as anywhere I've been. Also loved how many natural cow products they have. Flint Hills beef cooked in tallow and we picked up a pack of bovine gelatin gummies. This place makes me proud to be Kansan.
Nice little mom and pop joint. Definitely feels a little like stepping back to the good old days. Its fresh.....its not fast so don't be in a hurry. I ordered plan cheeseburger. They have many options and I prob should have tried a signature one likeCordon Blu.
The perfect diner! We stopped in here because of the reviews and were ecstatic with our choice to eat here. We were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast they only serve it on Saturdays. My husband got a scrambler and the rest of us got "The Garbage Plate "which consisted of hashbrowns, diced meats, veggies, and cheese. The small order cost $8 and consisted of 3 giant scoops thatcovered an entire Dixie paper/dinner plate. We opted to smother it in their homemade sausage gravy and I added a homemade sodabiscuit. The owner of the restaurant makes biscuits from scratch using his great grandma 's recipe. We learned that from his momwho takes order and runs the cash register and is just about the sweetest and cutest lady ever. The recipe comes from hergrandma. She 's proud of her son and what the restaurant offers and she should be. We highly, highly recommend this restaurant.You will NOT be sorry!
