Lately, every time we've ordered a meal with fries at Spangles, the fries have been cold or lukewarm. We even specifically asked for hot fries on one occasion. This has been an ongoing problem for several months now. Has there been a change in management?

However, when I requested dessert for my family, the employee hadn’t prepared it, so I had to ask again. A bigger concern was the damp and extremely slippery floors. Although warning signs were posted, they didn’t reduce the hazard. Both my son and I nearly slipped and fell twice while navigating the area. The menu offers a good variety, but the safety issues slightly overshadowed the experience.

The place is very clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. The food is excellent, and the ice cream is lactose-free, which is great for people like me. Also, the $1.99 ice cream waffle cone is generously sized, with a buttery-flavored cone that's very satisfying.

I've visited the original Spangles several times and enjoyed it, but this location is a definite no for me. Having lived in Emporia for years, I now understand why I avoided this place back then.
