Alas, when we went to the Old Saloon, they told us it was the same as the Livery Stable and seated us in the Old Livery part of the restaurant. Service was very slow. Beer choices were good. Food was OK (fries were very good). My husband's order came when the rest of us had finished eating. Definitely will not be back.

As soon as you step i... read more I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, and the view is absolutely stunning. As soon as you step into this place, you feel like you've been transported into an old movie. Indulge in some of the best burgers that Montana has to offer while gazing at a beautiful mountain right outside the window. I started with the poutine fries and the cheese pull was incredible! I also had a side salad with my burger, and I was almost full just from the appetizer and salad. You will definitely not leave this restaurant feeling unsatisfied. The burger was mind-blowing - perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place.

Ba... read more The Livery Stable has the most honest pair of mechanics I've ever known. They also provide the best service and best expertise of any shop I've ever been to. Bart and Jeff are just top notch and so friendly. I really can't say enough good things about these guys! Once my car needed a new transmission, I bought one off Rock Auto and they installed it and the car ran for years after that. On another occasion, I brought in my minivan. Two separate mechanics told me it needed a new engine. When the Livery Stable looked at it, they said it didn't really need a new engine to keep running well, though it did need some serious repair. I walked away paying half of what it would have cost me to put in a new engine at the other shops!

I got the breakfast sand... read more This is actually located next to the Old Salon so once we found it it was perfect. The food was amazing and the staff was really sweet. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and it was honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches that I've ever had. The coffee was also fantastic! Next time I'm in town I will definitely be coming back here! Clearly by my cleaned plate it was amazing food!
