The best of all time! I only loved it when it was made fresh. And in the biggest fans of Sushi! This is my second time to go to this restaurant and I just started to love it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Miyozen:
Tasty, but small portions. Floor was very sticky. I went to lunch with my family. My husband, 3 kids, and I and was charged auto gratuity for a group...odd. I tip well, but the auto gratuity for my family struck me as odd!!! one of my kids didn't even eat, being 3 and doesn't eat Sushi. On top of this my appetizer came out last and was burnt- took one bite and left it on the table. Won't be eating here again. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and fresh, but unfortunately they made a major mistake with our order and did not make it right. Despite the good food, we will not be returning to this establishment and we will not be recommending it to others. It is important to note that if you are interested in conveyor belt sushi, it is not available on Thursdays at this restaurant.
The sushi at this restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious. You can get very reasonable prices if you order takeout in person. However, I have noticed that ordering through Yelp tends to be more expensive than ordering directly from the restaurant. I suggest calling them or walking in to place your order.
Nasty. They don’t devein any of the shrimp they serve. The owner said it’s too much work to do. No other restaurant I’ve been to has found it too taxing to devein a shrimp. What other corners are they cutting that aren’t so visible?
The food was fine, but pretty expensive for what you got. Chirashi/sashimi was the smallest I’ve ever gotten aside from fancy omakase experiences.. thin and small pieces, with overly seasoned, vinegary sushi rice. That was pretty disappointing but what made the experience worse was that there was no AC or air flow in the restaurant. It was probably 80ish degrees in the restaurant. When we left, it was significantly cooler outside. Others may not be bothered this but for me it was really uncomfortable and unpleasant. Overall I think there are many better options for sushi/Japanese in the east bay.
Not the best sushi I've ever had, but pretty solid. Big Studio Ghibli vibes here, so if you like anime and eating sushi while watching anime, then this is your joint.
