Advice: given the excellent price/quality ratio, and given the presence of a very beautiful Spa: don't stay just one night. maybe 2 nights to enjoy it all Rooms: 5

From the welcome by Zanele at reception to the housekeeping staff, service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Food, breakfast and dinner, was of sublime quality and worthy of special mention. The gym is adequate and clean with all items in good working order. A special mention for the huge bed with its top-grade Egyptian cotton sheets. A special bonus is Walkerson's close proximity to Dullstroom and special places like Verloren Valei (5 kms before Dullstroom) where all three Crane species breed. It's also a high-altitude (2298m) 4x4 route for off-road enthusiasts. Of the 24 countries I've visited as a motoring journalist and travel feature writer, Walkerson's ranks with the best. We will be back.
