Most magnificent place to visit it’s beautiful the food is out of this world the suites are lovely we love visiting two to three times a year we have always had the most amazing short breaks at walkersons. The staff are all so wonderful and the service is out of this world. The spa is definitely worth a visit especially if you need to relax and wind down. I highly recommend the crystal therapy massage and the therapists are amazing.

The most incredible hotel and estate! Will defintiely come back again as soon as possible. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the views are unmatched. Absolutely incredible! Hats off to all the staff for giving us the most incredible experience! I also left a gold bracelet behind and the lovely staff tan behind me to give it to me. The restaurant was unwelcoming. We arrived for a birthday weekend and tried to make a booking at the hotel restaurant for dinner, but were told they were fully booked. When we inquired about the possibility of getting a table if there were cancellations, we were told it was not possible. Despite finding this odd, we accepted it. We later checked in on the restaurant during the evening and found it to be less than 50% occupied. This poor service from a supposedly 5-star venue is shameful. I do not recommend dining here. This restaurant provides an absolutely brilliant dining experience. They maintain international 6-star standards for hygiene, service, and food quality. The waiters are knowledgeable and provide attentive service in a quiet and observant manner, without being intrusive. The scones with cream and strawberry jam are highly recommended, especially when paired with fresh filter coffee. Overall, an irresistible dining experience.

My wife and myself just spent 4 days at Walkersons Hotel for the first time. We enjoyed it so much, that I am just about to book a return visit. The location and setting is amazing. To walk around the dams was great. Staff were very well trained and extremely courteous and friendly. My wife was unable to walk anywhere due to a recent operation, so we hired a golf cart and I took her around the estate for sight seeing. I would highly recommend Walkerson's Hotel to all future visitors. We also visited the spa, where the staff were also very efficient. I did not manage to do any trout fishing in the various dams but I will certainly attempt fishing in the dams next time. I believe Walkerson's has just been taken over by Alex Band and his family, I wish them everything of the best and success for the future. Hope to see you all again soon.
