Mr. Hero - Elyria

Delicious food and good customer service. I passed through town and this place was recommended. I got the chicken phillie and it was good. I like how to cook your meal right in front of you, so it is beautiful and fresh.

Real review 4 1/2 stars I wasn't with Mr.Hero sites in years, not intentionally, just so happened. On my way home, on SR-113, I thought by chance: "Hey there's a Mr.Hero location right around the corner at Lake Ave, I was hungry, so I went. It looked so I downloaded the app, ordered and waited in my car. The app warned me that the waiting period lasted 20 minutes. Okay, cool, no big deal. I waited about 15 minutes and went in and the 3 workers were busy cooking and giving orders before me. They had already made my gyro, but the pepperoni pizza bites made after I checked with them. I didn't know what to expect. I had low expectations because I never had their gyro or pepperoni pizza bits, but let me tell you it was the best gyro I had in years! And the pizza bites were fantastic! Only at this point is the small lobby (only had 3 or 4 seats to sit) and the parking lot. But the food makes me more. I wish I took pictures of the food to share with you.

The food was fantastic as usual, especially the delicious cheese fries. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly.

Mr. Hero is my go-to restaurant, it's my favorite place. The owner is a dedicated and hardworking individual who puts so much passion and professionalism into each sandwich.

The food was tasty, but it took a while for my order to be ready. It would be more efficient to call ahead and just pick it up!
