The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the waiter was also the chef. After enjoying our delicious burgers and sandwiches, we watched him tending to the plants outside. The food was satisfying and we were impressed by the freshness of the salad and desserts, despite the restaurant's remote location. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lane's Diner:
I cannot believe how terrible our experience was at this restaurant. When we arrived, there were only two people inside and we had to wait nearly 10 minutes without even seeing a waitress. We were confused about whether the restaurant was open until I finally approached the kitchen and found the waitress, who told us we had to place our order in the attached mini mart. While traveling through the middle of nowhere in Nevada, you may come across a nondescript diner that may leave you feeling hesitant about trying their food. However, I can assure you that this restaurant is worth a visit. Despite its unassuming exterior, the inside is charming, clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly and the food is freshly made to order. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ham I ordered, which was juicy and flavorful without being overly salty. If you find yourself passing by this diner and feeling hungry, I highly recommend stopping in for a delicious meal.
This establishment is a combination of a cozy business and a cafe-style restaurant. I was a bit disappointed that the cafe section was closed when I visited early in the morning, but the coffee in the comfortable lobby area was decent for just $2. The main reason I am writing this review is because the bathroom was exceptionally clean. It was impressive to see such high standards, especially considering the location (the city had a population of over 282 in the 2010 census). I would recommend this place as a great pit stop while traveling through the area, especially on a road trip.
While traveling from California to Idaho, we stumbled upon this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The food was delectable and the staff was exceptionally welcoming. We may have to make a pit stop here on our way back home!
This small and unassuming restaurant has amazing flavors and outstanding service. I tried the Bucking Bronco burger with fries, and the bun was incredibly soft, the burger was juicy, and the toppings were abundant. The Chipotle mayo was especially tasty. My wife had the Ward chicken sandwich, which included grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a cheese crisp. The fries were fresh cut, not frozen. We also indulged in a freshly baked cinnamon roll that was delicious. Overall, a delightful dining experience.
