Started with a drink in the bar which contains... read more We’ve been past this restaurant so many times and it always looks busy but we’ve never got round to it until now. Started with a drink in the bar which contains a butchers and cheese counter. Baked goods also available. Very friendly and entertaining. The restaurant was already filling up so we took our table. The food was very typical for this area but the quality was excellent and the service amazing. The waitress could not have been more helpful. The price for this lunch was 42 Euros including drinks for the four of us. There was a good choice including fish although I can’t say if vegetarian was available. The whole experience of the bar and restaurant just left us all with huge smiles on our faces and we will definitely be back. Get there early because it is so popular.

Do not expect white apron service, it is a place where you eat amongst the local farmers, while they talk loudly about their farms and throw on the floor the rest of the raw beans they eat at the bar, as it is normally expected in a place like this. All food is home made and coocked on charcoal. To note that this place historically started as a butcher place, which it still is!
