My mother and I have previously visited this establishment and had a good experience, although my partner and my nan had not. The ambiance was lovely, nice blue mood...lighting with acoustic music playing in the background, as we were the first to arrive roughly around 8 pm, it wasn't busy (traditionally, the Spaniards prefer to eat later in the evening) although, throughout the evening, DomGim began filling up nicely. We had ordered the rustic bread and tomato spread for starters, as my mother ordered a medium-rare entrecote with a mushroom sauce, whilst my nan ordered a half chicken served with chips. My partner and I shared a 600g steak, medium-rare, which was cooked to absolute perfection, served in a medallion-esque style accompanied with sea salt on top of each medallion and green peppers our steak alone was €50 but it was totally worth it! For dessert, we shared the mango apple strudel. The service was second to none, providing a very personable experience whilst our waiter was handy in taking a family photo! We shall definitely be returning in the near future!

It's not that the food isn't a bit out of the of the ordinary, it is, but basically it does variations on standards. We went on a Sunday and...there was no set menu. We had a very tasty salad, a salad with mango and avocado and a nice mustard dressing but it was a salad. We had some battered duck with some sort of sauce a bit like chicken goujons (that's the deep fried battered chicken, isn't it and then we had two lumps of meat. Nicely cooked and well presented meat but lumps of meat on a plate. We may have chosen different things but one of the starters and two of the mains were off, probably because we ate quite late. I didn't like that the chips (French fry type chips) and the bread were listed on the menu, with a price. It cost us about 70€ for the starters to share and a main course each, a couple of drinks and a coffee so reasonable enough for a slightly more upmarket place. Not cheap though. The service was fine. perfectly pleasant and not too obtrusive.
