My note is more 3,5/5.Nice situation for that Elwood central café. Big windows, red bricks on the wall, very grungy ... The menu is appetising with a nice selection of classic Mebournians breakfast and lunch salads sandwich or day dishes. Everything seems to be homemade and the quality of the food is great. Great place for breakfast! nice little cafe on a large corner block, great place to come and go the busy, indoor and outdoor seat. the workers were more accentuated than with the food needs, they were happy to be the atmosphere free and easy. the bircher muesli was absolutely delicious. I mean, tasty! would recommend this little gem very much.
That's my favorite café in elwood! They have the most tasty and consistent coffee. the staff are super friendly and always say hello. they allow dogs in caffe and have small dog treatments! I'm not sure if the dogs or owners like the caffe anymore. I highly recommend coming to breakfast or brunch!
Really great customer service! Friendly and welcoming. I ordered a takeaway coffee on a quiet Monday (mid morning), it took about 15 minutes to prepare. When I received my coffee, the cup was really dirty from the baristas hands which I found a little gross. Despite this, the coffee was boiling hot and almost un drinkable. A real shame because I’ve heard great things! Maybe just an off day however felt worthy of noting my experience.
