Combi - Elwood
Combi
Description
Nestled in South-East Melbourne, Combi stands out as a charming cafe offering a cozy atmosphere and a variety of vegan options. While its limited indoor and outdoor seating can lead to waits during peak hours, the cafe compensates with delightful vegan desserts and smoothies. Patrons rave about the roasted vegan sandwich and the attention to detail in food preparation. Although slightly pricier than other vegan spots and serving meat and dairy, the commitment to quality shines through. Combi, with its friendly staff and carefully crafted menu, has the potential to become a beloved vegan destination.

I like Combi, a lot. It's one of few vegan friendly options in the South-East area of Melbourne. Seating both inside and outside however it is limited and if you go in peak time you could wait a while for a table. There are limited vegan meal options however an abundance of vegan dessert options! Smoothies have always been good too. I do find it a bit more expensive than other vegan friendly cafes, but it is worth a try. It has the right location and setup to be a great vegan cafe in the future (dare to dream! 3 stars lose 1 due to meat on the menu, and lose another due to how expensive it is in relation to other cafes
Great vegan options great vibes! Despite having one meat option on the menu, this cafe is predominantly raw/vegan. They press their own juices and almond milk on sight which is awesome.
Cute place with a lot of vegan options, don’t see a reason for it not to be vegan as it is the typical healthy smoothie bowl and brunch place.
Combi is a welcoming cafe with a cozy atmosphere and a variety of vegan options. My go-to choice is the vegan toasted sandwich, paired with their consistently excellent coffee. The limited seating can be a challenge, and it's worth noting that the cafe also offers meat and dairy options. Despite this, I appreciate the attention to detail and the care with which the food is prepared at Combi.
