China Buffet - Elwood

I must say, this restaurant truly deserves high praise! As newcomers to the Elwood area, we've been dining here since we first arrived, and it has quickly become our go-to spot. Ordering is a breeze; we primarily do takeout, but the buffet looks great and there’s always fresh food available. Our orders are always accurate and delivered promptly, and we've never encountered any issues or disappointments. The family who runs the restaurant seems to recognize us each time we visit, as we tend to order the same thing and they are consistently polite, friendly, and quick with service. The combo plates are quite generous, usually including a soda or soup, an egg roll, rice, and duck. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they would offer coupons occasionally. Despite that, we make it a point to stop by about once a month, and the portion sizes are so substantial that we often have leftovers for the next day! I highly recommend supporting this local family business.
