A piece of tasteless meat, 2 leafs of lettuce and oily French fries on a cold platter. We have had far better Alentejo meals for a half this price. Dessert menu was ... Supermarket ice cream , and a piece of paper with duck tape inside this plastic booklet. Extremely overrated restaurant. View all feedback.
Cold winter mid week evening for supper in rural village as we made our way south and staying locally. Made very welcome by the waiters and helped by our weak Portuguese we chose a great wine from a strong list and settled on the home made tomato soup absolutely knockout served with croutons and chorizo tureen for two but only 1 portion charged. The soup followed a voluntary cover of goats’ cheese and local jamon a perfect start with white port. Main courses were a local pork dish for my wife and lamb cutlets for me very tasteful but we couldn’t do them justice sadly no room for dessert. The place got busy in the two hours we were there obviously the locals rate it highly. Recommended
This restaurant is a good reason to travel miles to get there. We were served by the owner who is a lovely person. The food was simply unbelievably tasty and delicious . Probably one of the best meals in the last year!!! And the price is also incredibly cheap.
One of the best around Elvas Good service, warming staff, big dishes. Better reserve cos sometimes is full...
Comida, serviço, simpatia dos empregados. Tudo excepcional.
