Made very welcome by the waiters and helped by our weak P... read more Cold winter mid week evening for supper in rural village as we made our way south and staying locally. Made very welcome by the waiters and helped by our weak Portuguese we chose a great wine from a strong list and settled on the home made tomato soup absolutely knockout served with croutons and chorizo tureen for two but only 1 portion charged. The soup followed a voluntary cover of goats’ cheese and local jamon a perfect start with white port. Main courses were a local pork dish for my wife and lamb cutlets for me very tasteful but we couldn’t do them justice sadly no room for dessert. The place got busy in the two hours we were there obviously the locals rate it highly. Recommended
