The owner was extremely helpful and attentive. Excellent value for money

The ingredients used in the food are obviously f... read more First things first, the food is amazing, as is the wine. We loved this tiny restaurant with its gracious hosts. The ingredients used in the food are obviously fresh and lovingly put together. Cheese with fresh tomatoes, fabulous cod croquettes, the best black pork we had in the Alentejo, terrific golden cod, and delicious crisp and nicely chilled white wine. Even the bread served with the meal was excellent. To top it off, the price is very reasonable. Sitting outside next to an ancient castle eating wonderful food with a nice wine is one meal we won’t forget on our 3 week trip through this wonderful country. Thanks so much, Luis (and your mom! for great food and a great memory! Keep playing the blues!
