This Dog friendly cafe is great for those who wish to stop for a bite to eat while spending time with your four legged friends. Our orders were taken quickly. Coffee came out quickly. But took forever for a soup and focaccia. Others who ordered after us got their food before us. Overall it was great value and worth a visit. View all feedback.

Called in for a quick lunch, had not been here for a couple of years at least. A bit cool so picked an inside table. Another lady was actually asked to move from the table she sat at just minutes before. The owner knew this group was coming ... why not section off the room?!?! Our lunch was not an enjoyable experience.Oh the food? Quite nice, service pleasant but the place is run down and out of date. Will not be back.
We have visited Warrandyte Cafe a few times before and really loved it, the breakfasts were brilliant and good value. We went back this weekend and asked for a couple of bacon and egg sandwiches (which were not on the menu). So disappointed. They were on supermarket toated wholemeal sliced bread with a couple of rashes and a hard fried egg. Had to ask for sauce. Underwhelming to say the least. We had 2 lattes each and two sandwiches which cost $43. We felt ripped off. Doubt we will return.

The food is pretty good but could have been better described. My wife thought she was ordering a vegetarian dish from the specials board but when it arrived it was actually a chicken dish. Part of my dish arrived when I'd already finished eating the rest of it. The ambiance was also lacking inside, basic decor & quite noisy when there are several tables of people all talking.
Waiting a long time for lunch, despite not appearing to be very busy. Food was poor, with stale bread. Overpriced for what it is and poor service. We used to quite like this place, but it is not definitely off the list !
