When we walked in, a fr... read more I went out to dinner with some colleagues on a chilly Friday evening. I hadn't heard of this restaurant before, but I'm glad I found it. When we walked in, a friendly waiter led us to our reserved table. The restaurant was about halfway full and a bit noisy with kids running around, but it had a family-friendly atmosphere. The table service was excellent, and the menu had Italian dishes. We skipped the appetizers and went straight to the main courses. I ordered the pork belly, as did one of my colleagues, while two others had schnitzel and the last one had a meat lover's pizza. The food came out quickly and I have to say, the pork belly was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was a generous portion but not overwhelming, and it was delicious. We finished our meals quickly and still had room for dessert. The waitstaff was attentive but not intrusive, and very friendly. The desserts were tasty and satisfying. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience and I will definitely be returning.

Convenie... read more Went on a Tuesday evening with three other family members. My daughter chose venue as result of ratings. It a large modern restaurant with many tables. Convenient parking. After the great rating - expected restaurant to be busy. Only ten other people were present.Ordered two pizzas, a special and a lasagne.As the restaurant was empty we expected our food to arrive quite quickly. It took 25 minutes from order to receipt of food.The pizzas were cold and the toppings worse than skimpy. There was no noticeable cheese on either pizza and the topping barely covered 50% of the base. When I had eaten more than half my pizza the waiter enquired about my pizza. Told him both arrived cold and we were not happy with the quality. Offered to take back to kitchen. I asked for what purpose! They had set the standard - very low in my estimation. The other two dishes were up to standard.The potential of the restaurant is great, but get the pizzas right - your are an Italian restaurant!

We ordered the gluten free pizza and vegetarian lasagne and I was super impressed with both. Definitely worth the drive out to Warrandyte.
