Degani Cafe Bakery Eltham

Have not been here for awhile because the food was not good went back today and has not improved the coffee is very bitter ordered a toasted chicken sandwich it come out non toasted sent it back came back toasted but chicken was cold in middle not nice did not think it was hard to make toasted sandwich won't be going back lots of outher great places to eat in eltham

We really enjoyed our cakes here. I had flourless orange and puppy seed cake and my partner had chocolate lava cake. Both were delicious...

Went to this place for breakfast and the food was absolutely terrible. had bacon and eggs, and the eggs were hard and cold, the bacon was greasy and cold, even the so called toast was not toasted and cold. this place used to be packed on a Saturday and sunday for breakfast, but was half empty when we visited. I am not sure if there is a new (so called) chef, but he or she needs a lesson or two on how to cook breakfast, (which I would have thought is not that hard). will never eat here again as plenty of better places Eltham. Staff at this place are extremely nice and friendly and always helpful

Great pies and cakes, great setting even though it was raining overlooking the park and the Yarra River, outdoors but under shelter

First time visit for breakfast Sunday and will not be going back. Two of us waited ....and waited for order to arrive. After 45 mins we were told it would be another 15 mins!!!??? . After another 25 mins - one hour and 10 minutes in total....we decided we were not prepared to wait any longer. Demanded a refund (got it) and left for breakfast somewhere else. Place wasn't particularly overcrowded. Extremely disappointing. Wont be going near the place again.
