Khun Thai - Elsternwick

Wow just wow. We try not to go more than 2 weeks without getting out fix of delicious, fresh, flavourful, healthy Thai food. The decor is charming and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately they know our order by heart because we are obsessed with the noodle dishes. I recommend the Pad Kei Mao (sp? which is just divine. They take spices and flavour seriously. Everything is delicious. Sometimes I try other dishes and I'm never disappointed. I love Khun Thai!

This has been my local Thai restaurant for over 10 years. It's a family run business and the family is so lovely. I always see head chef Mama in the kitchen and she always takes the time to smile or even pop out to say hi. The food is super tasty and always fresh. It's not over complicated and that's why I love it so much. You have to try the buffalo wings and the coconut rice is the best in Melbourne. The stir frys and curries are delicious. Enjoy

This relatively small restaurant appears primarily geared to the takeaway market with a constant stream of drivers coming and going, proving somewhat disruptive to a nice meal. We found the food was OK, nothing special, and reasonable value; we doubt we'd return.

Ordered takeaway, had veg massaman and red duck curry. Litrally no flavour. Even the roti bread was hard and bland. Very disappointed.

Fabulous food. Great staff. Not an upmarket looking place but very good. Better than other Thai restaurants in this area. Delicious soup.
